Helen qualified from Imperial Medical school in London and after living in different parts of the UK has settled back in Warwickshire where she grew up.
She enjoys being a General Practitioner and working with the diverse population in central Coventry. Since starting at Priory Gate in 2012 she has got to known many of the families in the practice and very much enjoys the continuity of care this provides. Her interests include palliative medicine, women’s health, paediatrics and diabetes.
In her spare time she loves walks and hanging out with her husband and three children and their dog. She is keen on running, biking and enjoys open water swimming.

Claire was born in Mansfield, just north of Nottingham and went to university in Leicester to study medicine. Claire has been working as a GP since 2005 and have been at Priory Gate Practice since 2017. She feels really lucky to work in such a rewarding job, in such a diverse city. She loves developing relationships with people that can last many years and aim to work as a team to support people to live healthy, happy lives. She lives with my husband and two children; she also have a slightly insane dog who drags her out running most days.

Dr Richard Woods has been working as a GP in the Coventry and Warwickshire area for over 15 years.
He started off studying Biological Sciences and worked in the Natural History Museum and studied in New South Wales in Australia.
His work as a biologist led him to medicine and he moved to Coventry to study at Warwick University in 2002. Dr Woods worked in paediatrics, A+E, respiratory medicine and palliative care before qualifying as a full time GP.
He joined the team at Priory Gate Practice in 2020. He’s the surgery lead in minor operations and joint injections and also a specialist in mens health.
