The NHS offers a range of supportive weight management options, including healthy lifestyle advice, local support programmes, digital tools, and specialist services for those who may benefit from extra help.  We can support you with realistic, achievable changes that fit into everyday life — because healthy weight loss is not about quick fixes, but about helping you feel healthier, stronger, and more confident for the future.

Please note as yet none of these services can offer the weight loss injections such as mounjaro.

Everyone can refer themslelves to Healthy Lifestyles Service in Coventry.  Get simple, helpful advice and expert local support to feel better and live healthier in Coventry.

We offer local Healthy Lifesyle Clinics which you can refer yourself to.  These are held at the Godiva Practice on Stoney Stanton Road.                                    

If your BMI is over 30 or over 27.5 (ethinicity South Asian) and you have high blood pressure or diabetes then we can refer you to the digital weight management service.  You will need a smartphone or tablet and internet access.    If you are interested in a referral to this sevrice please contact us through anima.                                                                         

If your BMI is over 35 and you are have diabetes, pre diabetes, high blood pressure or of South Asian descent or your BMI is over 40 we can refer you to the hospital to the Specialist Weight Management Team. If you are interested in a referral to this sevrice please contact us through anima.
